Mr. Hamilton retired from the U.S Army after serving 22 years and went on to work for several years as a Project Engineer for the 2nd largest Veterans Affairs (VA) hospital in the United States.

During this period of service at the VA Hospital there was a personal incident that would change the course of his professional career.  After careful consideration, Mr. Hamilton departed from employment at the VA hospital to be with his family.

Mr. Stephens architectural firm, SM Architects, had been working with the VA hospital for 10 years – that is where he and Mr. Hamilton met. They worked together for several years designing and delivering numerous healthcare related projects. It was during this time that they both realized they shared the same passion and love for Veterans. It was from these events that ENAPAY LLC was formed.

The word “ENAPAY” is a native American word meaning “The Brave One” and this is the name Mr. Hamilton gave his son to remind him that as he continues to grow, he must always remember that it takes courage and bravery to face life’s obstacles.
